Our History:

Susan Brewer began SupplyMaster in 1984 as a ribbon supply specialist. By 1987 SupplyMaster was incorporated and well established in the southern California K-12 education market.  Our success has been proven over the years with a loyal customer base enabling us to expand our offering to include a complete line of office solutions.  We are grateful to have such great customers!

Born to Print

My father and grandfather both sold typewriters.  I had the good fortune to grow up learning the family office equipment business and yes, I sold typewriters too. That makes me third generation in print devices.  I was definitely born to print!

In 1978 I met husband Doug at Cal State Fullerton.  Doug graduated with a Finance Degree in 1980, we married, and I worked full time during the day for Kroy Lettering Systems (more print) and finally graduated with a degree in Marketing in 1983.

Full of enthusiasm, I turned in my resignation to Kroy in 1984 and started SupplyMaster.  In the early day’s our sales were mainly typewriter, calculator and printer ribbons.  Laser printers were to follow in the next decade.  Doug went on to get his MBA from Claremont Graduate School in Finance, and I got my MOM, two great boys!  In 2005, Doug resigned his CFO position to join SupplyMaster.

Today

Susan is a dedicated HP Managed Print Specialist pairing school districts with HP direct to manage their fleets.  Why?  Because of the cost savings! SupplyMaster continues to provide transactional HP Toner and Ink to school districts throughout Southern California.   We are able to deliver over 50,000 technology and office products next day from a network of over 60 distribution centers across the United States.  We answer our phones live, return calls and quote request promptly.  We are a family business dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service, satisfaction and value.
